After three decades, I am still drawn to what makes this work special: capturing moments that tell a story, creating images that resonate, and working with talented people to bring a vision to life—all while having fun.

The industry has transformed since I started—new cameras, new formats, new workflows—but the heart of the work remains unchanged. It's about understanding your subject and serving the narrative.

Much of the work involves creative problem-solving in real time—finding the shot in a challenging space, improvising camera movement, and making smart decisions to keep the production moving. Production also requires assessing what a shoot needs and organizing the approach efficiently to make the most of everyone's time and budget. Every project is a team effort, and I value the crew and talent I work with as much as the final product.
