tony stewart

director of photography, director/cameraman, camera operator, producer, still photographer

"I'm really lucky. I love what I do. So many opportunities to create images… to tell a story, create emotion, to teach, and to continue to learn… all while being able to make a career out of something I enjoy."

Combining the passion for image making with over 25 years of experience, Tony works with an incredible range of imaging technologies, formats and processes including: multiple high definition acquisition systems, Sony and Canon DSLR HD technology, 35mm and 16mm film, 3D, still photography, and time-lapse photography.

"Being constantly inspired and motivated by positive attitudes, work ethics, production logistics, and creative minds just adds to my fascination of motivated people; like skilled production crews, musicians, photographers, cinematographers, scientists, philosophers, writers and athletes. I truly appreciate what it takes to do something well."

Tony tries to use that appreciation of mental focus, talent, and thoughtfulness to constantly strive to further his talents, and to exceed the expectations of those with whom he works.

He has taught camera and lighting classes as an adjunct professor at Rowan University and continues to be a resource for their video and film department. Tony is the father of two gifted young adults, a proud husband of an ICU/trauma nurse (now that's a real job!), and has two very cool cats: three-legged Charlie (aka "Tripod"), and Chloe.
